In and around Marseille

The conference will be held at Kedge Business School (Marseille Campus). The school is nicely located in the hills at the South of Marseille in a lovely Mediterranean setting. There will be buses going from the conference hotels in the city centre to the School.

Marseille is the capital of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, and hosts one of the most important ports of the Mediterranean Sea. Marseille was named as European Capital of Culture in 2013. The city is embedded in the famous and beautiful Provence landscape. September is one of the most comfortable times in the year in Marseille with still plenty of sunshine and temperatures around 25°C. More information on Marseille can be found on the City of Marseille website as well as from the Marseille Tourist Office website. Here you can also find a map of the city, a plan of the public transportation system and other useful information.

From the airport Marseille is easily accessible through a direct bus that connects the airport with the main station St Charles (single fare EUR 8.20). This bus runs every 20 minutes and the transfer takes roughly half an hour.
